Destination Board Privacy Policy

Destination Board helps users create train and flight information boards for personal, hobby, demo, and business display use. This policy explains what information the service collects and how it is used.

Information We Collect

We collect information needed to provide the service, including:

• Account details such as user ID, display name, email address, role, account status, plan, and access code credentials.
• Board configuration such as selected station or airport, departures or arrivals mode, platform, terminal or gate filters, display settings, custom messages, custom services, and enabled calendar feeds.
• Display pairing information such as device names, pairing codes, device tokens, paired board IDs, and display status.
• Calendar information if you add an iCal link, including the calendar URL and event information needed to show relevant board entries.
• Operational information such as server logs, request times, diagnostics, and error information used to run and troubleshoot the service.
• First-party product analytics such as aggregate counts of portal opens, board opens, boards created, sharing, custom train use, and subscription events. We do not record station searches or board content in analytics.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Operate the Destination Board app, portal, and display screens.
• Save and synchronise board settings across your devices.
• Fetch live transport information and show configured custom services or calendar events.
• Pair and manage iPads, monitors, and other displays.
• Provide support, diagnose issues, secure accounts, and improve reliability.

Third Party Services

Destination Board may use third party services to provide live transport data, hosting, app distribution, and beta testing. These may include rail data providers, flight data providers, hosting providers, and Apple TestFlight/App Store services. Product analytics are first-party and are used only to understand and improve Destination Board. We do not sell personal information and we do not use the app for third party advertising, cross-app tracking, or advertising profiles.

Calendar Links

If you add an iCal link, the service stores the link so it can read events and display relevant entries on selected boards. You should only add calendar links that you have permission to use. You can remove calendar links from the portal.

Data Sharing

We share information only where needed to run the service, comply with law, protect the service, or use infrastructure providers that process data on our behalf. We do not sell user data.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep account, board, display, custom service, message, and calendar data while your account or boards are active. You can delete individual content from the portal. You can also permanently delete your account and its associated boards, display links, custom services, messages, calendar links, purchase grants, sessions, and account details from Account in the portal or from App options in the iPhone and iPad app. Deletion is processed immediately. An App Store subscription must be cancelled separately through your Apple subscription settings.

Children

Destination Board is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the service, including access codes, session tokens, and transport security where the hosted service is accessed over HTTPS. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your Choices

You can manage boards, displays, messages, custom services, and calendar links in the portal. You may also request access, correction, or deletion of your information by contacting us.
